On that day, Ningxia’s first CRE train imported goods bonded store officially opened on the second floor of the waiting hall at Yinchuan Railway Station. The store brings together specialty products from more than 20 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” Initiative (BRI), including Russia, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, Germany, and others. The products include cosmetics, maternal products, food and beverages, luxury goods, and more, totaling over 1,000 varieties in more than 10 categories. All the goods, priced around 80% of the market price, are sourced globally using the “global direct procurement plus 1210 bonded e-commerce” model, utilizing globally advanced RFID anti-counterfeiting technology for full traceability. So customers can easily identify the authenticity by scanning the smart electronic label with their phones.
Passengers waiting at the railway station can now conveniently buy globally sourced specialty products, which is novel for many travelers. On the opening day, the store was bustling with activity. A passenger named Ren Hongyu said, “Last time I went to Yinchuan International Convention and Exhibition Center to see the overseas goods exhibition, but I waited in line for 2 hours and still couldn’t get in. Now Yinchuan Railway Station has opened an imported goods bonded store, which can be visited and shopped at any time. The products are genuine and reasonably priced, making them convenient and efficient. The railway sector’s services are becoming more and more thoughtful.”
“Currently, people have a relatively large demand for imported goods, but there are few opportunities to go shopping abroad or at duty-free shops. With the continuous improvement of the CRE train international logistics network, the emergence of CRE train imported goods (bonded) stores is a response to this demand. We have introduced characteristic products from across the world, ensuring full-process supervision from the arrival of goods to consumers. The opening of the CRE train imported goods (bonded) store at Yinchuan Railway Station is another attempt by Ningxia Railway International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. of Gansu Lanzhou Railway International Travel Agency Co., Ltd., to actively explore a market-oriented operation model, which fully leveraged the advantages of the railway industry.
