On December 29, the bidirectional train of the China-Laos-Thailand Cross-Border Railway, part of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (from Chongqing, China to Vientiane, Laos and Bangkok, Thailand), departed from the Tuanjiecun Railway Station in Chongqing. It is scheduled to arrive at the Ma Ta Phut Railway Station in Thailand in five days.

This train marks the first international freight train service between Chongqing and Thailand, utilizing railway transportation for the entire journey, following the completion of the China-Laos Railway. The total railway transportation time is nearly 20 days shorter than traditional sea transportation, resulting in a comprehensive logistics cost reduction of over 20%.
