Recently, the “super station” the Baiyun Railway Station in Guangzhou of the Greater Bay Area commenced operations. Upgraded and expanded from the Tangxi Railway Station, which was established in 1916, the Baiyun Railway Station boasts an area equivalent to four Guangzhounan Railway Stations. The station interconnects several major railway lines, including the Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Beijing Guangzhou Railway, Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou Railway, and Guangzhou-Maoming Railway, contributing to the further enhancement of the railway transportation system in the Greater Bay Area.
